
Meet Our Student Advisors
Anthea Weiland

Anthea is a recent graduate from Menlo College in Atheron, California, where she completed a double major in Finance and International Business. In 2023, she joined the board of the Business and Environment Club at Menlo College. Her passion for sustainable business led her to SolPods, where she interned from January through August 2024. During her time with SolPods, Anthea piloted the first Mentor Meet-Up and co-organized the first CFA Institute ESG Integration Webinar designed for college students. Anthea continues to support SolPods by providing strategic advice on sustainability content of interest to aspiring young professionals.
Andrew Kweder

Andrew Kweder holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University’s top-ranked O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. As a Senior Advisor, Andrew provides strategic direction on sustainability initiatives, mentorship for interns and volunteers, and manages SolPods’ programs and events. His interdisciplinary expertise in environmental policy and management, communication and public advocacy, and economic and statistical analysis equips him to navigate complex, intersectional challenges with both technical insight and collaborative leadership.
Mia Rubiera

Mia is an undergraduate student at Denison University in Columbus, Ohio, pursuing a double major in Political Science and Anthropology. In 2023, she discovered a passion for sustainability education during her internship with the Student Conservation Association in Washington, D.C., where she worked on community engagement initiatives and collaborated with local students. This experience led her to join Solpods, where she spent a year coordinating nationwide outreach to sustainability clubs, organizing community events, creating engaging content, and hosting podcast episodes. Mia continues her work with Solpods today, supporting the Student Advisory Committee and promoting student-led sustainability initiatives.
